November 2013

November memories:

Abby cuddling with Dad and her baby doll

11/3/13: Abby's 6-month birthday. Here she is wearing her cupcake shirt!

Riding in the grocery cart like a big girl!

Looking cute (and tired) after church with Dad & Noah

Abby had to be woken up this day since she was sleeping in like a teenager!

Abby's favorite blanket is one of Noah's baby blankets with a basketball, football, baseball & glove on it. We like to say that this must mean she's going to be a tomboy!

All bundled up and ready for a ride in the jogging stroller!

Abby likes to prop her feet up whenever she can. So cute!

For mom's birthday, dad installed a baby seat on her bike. Abby LOVES it!!

Sometimes we catch Abby "reading" her books.

It's gotten a little bit harder to put Abby to sleep at night lately. She ends up in our bed for a couple of hours once in awhile. She loves to be next to Mom & Dad.

Chillin with her chin on her hand!

We were at the mall the week of Thanksgiving and there was nobody in line to see Santa. So we decided to visit Santa for the first time. Abby was a little bit scared and kept burying her head in mommy's shoulder, then looking back up and Santa. Somehow we still managed to get a smiling picture after sitting her down on Santa's lap.
Thanksgiving evening around 10pm... we decided to hit up Dick's Sporting Goods for some early Black Friday shopping. Little miss NIGHT OWL loved it but Noah didn't!

We took some family pictures during the weekend after Thanksgiving. These are a few of the cute pictures Abby is in:

(Yes, we are missing a sister in these pictures. Tayler didn't want to participate.)

Saturday after Thanksgiving, we did our annual Sherwood family bike ride from Grandma & Poppy's house, to Freestone Park. Abby loved the long bike ride but was ready to be done when we got there! She hung out with Grandma Vicki while everyone else played football.

October 2013

October was a busy month for picture taking - with fall break happening, a weekend vacation, Halloween, and of course the every-day snapshots of Abby just being cute!

Daddy calming Abby down from crying with Baby Einstein on youtube!

Ready for a walk in her new jogging stroller!

Abby wasn't too phased by the scary pop-up spiders at the Halloween store! Mom and Noah were curious about how she would react and luckily for her, they didn't scare her too bad!

Just being cute :)

This is the day that we received Abby's Halloween costume in the mail. I think she knew she looked cute when we tried it on!!

During fall break we went to Vertuccio Farms - it was more for the older cousins to enjoy - but Mom & Abby got a train ride out of it! haha

Busy body... basically standing up out of her bumbo to get the knobs on the dryer...

... or a book!

This is the cutest face I've ever seen!

She's so cute even when she's asleep!

"Bathtime, oh yeah"

Abby finally fits into the peep-toe crochet shoes made by Aunt Christy. They are SO CUTE on her!

The adult girls in the Riggs family had a weekend getaway to Newport in October. Of course Abby and Davis got to tag along too! It was so fun to spend more time outside in the nice California weather!

Abby doesn't look as thrilled about a sleepover as Davis does!

What would we do without the puff-paint clothes / name CDs stand at the OC Swap Meet? That's where we found Abby the perfect little pair of sunglasses!

This picture was taken on our way home from California. I think both babies loved having all their aunts and grandma (and each other) around for the whole weekend!

I love her little crossed feet!

At the neighborhood trunk-or-treat...

Usually when we jog in the morning, Abby falls asleep for the second half of the jog, when we are coming back towards home and facing the sun. It works out perfect because I can put her sunglasses on her when she sleeps and she doesn't know they are on, so she doesn't take them off! On this day... I took her out of the stroller when we got home and she woke up. She sat in this chair and watched me for about 15 minutes from behind her shades! I couldn't stop laughing because she didn't realize they were on!

Guitar lessons with dad :)

At Grandma's neighborhood Halloween party with Lucy and Roxy

On Halloween night, we went to Grandma & Poppy's house to do our trick-or-treating / passing out candy...

Some of our cousins came too! Ellie as Dorothy, Davis as Peter Pan, Abby as a peacock, Noah as Cole (a Ninjago warrior), and Lucy as Tinkerbell.

Abby liked trick-or-treating next to Charlie. He didn't like to keep his lion's mane on his head but when he did, he was the hit of the neighborhood! So funny!! The Cummards did a Wizard of Oz themed Halloween: Lance as the tin man, Suzanne as the scarecrow, Ellie as Dorothy, and Charlie as the lion.

We used Ellie's peacock mask and feather's from last Halloween, just to get a matching picture with Abby & Mama!

Prettiest peacock ever!!
