We had a pretty full month in July with a few vacations, but every day whether is was at home or on vacation - was so much fun with our Abby girl!

She did good sitting in the Bumbo, probably because she loved watching our family movie!

Abby got to go to Oregon with mom and dad for a 5-day trip. The Westovers greeted us there with some sweet kids anxious to meet their cousin for the first time!

Oregon was so pretty ... this is Abby & Dad at a creek in the Tillamook Forest.

We gave Abby her first taste of ice cream at the Tillamook factory. I think she liked it!

We spent a fun few days on the Oregon coast...

 

Noah stayed home and missed Abby a lot! We face-timed each other one night and him and Abby loved to see and hear each other!

Abby started off the trip to Oregon as a perfect angel but didn't stay that way the whole time. She was pretty fussy the last few days but I think she wanted to be home and back to her normal routine. (Just like her mama!) She cried a lot on the plane ride home - when she finally fell asleep, we laid her on the snack tray!

We all crashed when we got home - Abby loved being back in her own little bed!

I love the way both Dad and Abby have their mouths open and arms crossed.

 At the end of July, we took a weekend trip to the Pinetop cabin. Abby enjoyed Ellie and Noah being in the car with her!

June 2013

In early June, we took a family trip to California. Abby was 5 weeks old and just starting to smile a lot!

She was a little angel the whole time and loved snuggling with Mom on the beach!

This is how we found Abby one day after a nap - completely wiggled out of her swaddle blanket! She wasn't too happy.

Abby had a clogged tear duct that got really infected. We started putting some of Davis's leftover drops in her eyes and by the time we made it to the doctor the next day, it had cleared up!

Noah loves being a big brother. He takes pictures and videos of Abby on his DS. 

Noah got to sleep in the bed one night when Russ was at scout camp. The next morning when mom got up to make a bottle, she came back to the bed to find Noah holding the binky in for Abby as he slept.

We took Abby swimming in Suzy's pool for the first time at 8 weeks old. She didn't seem to mind it. Russ put her under a few times and she only whimpered for a few seconds after each time. The whimpering might have even been just because she was tired...

 ...As soon as we wrapped her up in a towel and gave her the binky, she went right to sleep.

Mom's favorite thing in the world right now is cuddling with her sweet baby girl!
