March 2014

Here are some fun pictures of Abby throughout the month of March. We can't believe how fast she is growing up. She makes every day so fun for us!

Davis loved pushing Abby on the riding toy, and she loved the free ride! Everyone at Grandma & Poppy's house was laughing so hard at this sight.

Abby & Mommy comparison pictures...

She's a cool rider!!

Abby is constantly busy... discovering so many things to play with around the house, even if they are things not meant to be toys.

I don't know if I have any monthly posts without a sleeping picture or two! It is so sweet to watch her sleep.

We hiked the wind caves on a beautiful Saturday and Abby loved riding on Dad's back...

...so much that she fell asleep!

Sweets / chocolate lover, just like her mama!

Busted! Abby escaped into Noah's room one day and finally got to touch those legos he never lets her play with! The look on her face when we found her, was so guilty!

Abby LOVES doggies! She sometimes cries when we see one, not because she's afraid but because she wants to touch it so bad. She enjoyed this little stop in the pet store at the mall one day.

Blankie obsessed...

We finally got to celebrate "Christmas" in March with Grandma Riggs, since she was too sick at Christmas time. She gave all the little girls rainbow necklaces with their initial hanging from it. We love her!!

We spent St. Patrick's Day - which was also Noah's first day of Spring Break - at Grandma's pool.

Abby slept in the shade for just a few minutes before she woke up with FOMO (fear of missing out)... and joined in to play with the other kids & cuddle mommy!

This picture is funny because as Abby was up on the counter one day, she reached over and pulled a banana off the bunch, then just started to eat it. Hungry girl!

Abby has learned to crawl up the stairs this month. Oh no!!

Little miss cuddler!

These are a few pictures of Abby that were made to look like paintings with an app on Mom's phone...

... I especially love this one. It's one of my favorite pictures of Abby!

We attended the Heart Walk with many people in the Sherwood family, to celebrate the miracle of Riggs and his special heart. Here are some cute pictures from that morning...

We practiced for Abby's first birthday cake by giving her an entire cookie to eat in her high chair. I think she must have thought she had died and gone to heaven... that would explain the confused look on her face!

Our baby girl is now 11 months old and as perfect as can be!

February 2014

Abby turned 9 months old in February... her stats from her well-check were:
Weight: 18 pounds even (35%)
Height: 28" (65%)
Head: 18" (90%)

The perks of living on the same street as cousins... Noah asked to take Abby in her stroller down the street because he saw the Baldwins playing outside.

Our littlest Valentine in her Sunday best!

Abby posed for some pictures with Lucy and Davis after church, when we realized they all looked so cute in their matching Valentines attire.

Abby's first Progressive Dinner experience. She LOVES her family!

(Uncle Brad tends to hog Abby when he's around.)

Abby expressing how she feels about Mom taking a shower... haha! She was soaked by the time the shower was finished. This is the reason why mom USUALLY finds a way to shower when Dad's at home or when Abby's napping.

Abby has hit the age where she's busy as can be... she gets in to everything. She can't walk yet, but she knows how to pull herself up to things.

Valentines Day :)

Aunt Auburn babysat Davis and Abby on Valentines night so that we could go out on a date (Bryan was on a campout). Both babies had a great time!

Abby loves to ride bikes. We took a quick weekend trip to California and towed our bikes along. Abby was a great traveler!

We stayed with the Hess family... Otto and Abby are just 1 year apart.

Abby's hair is getting longer each day! It now fits into a tiny ponytail...

... or a clip...

... basically, mom was treating her like a baby doll one night and playing dress up with her hair accessories.

This was the first time Abby wore "big-girl" jammies! It got pretty hot in Arizona and the footsie pajamas would have been way too hot!

What life is like when Noah's in charge... poor girl!

Abby with her favorite blanket...  She always has her (boy) blankie in her hands. A funny story about her boy blankie... is that Aunt Suzy found Ellie's old blanket that is almost identical to Noah's old blanket (the one Abby is attached to), the only difference is that Ellie's blanket has pink stitching instead of blue and isn't as worn as Noah's. We tried to force the girl blanket on Abby and she didn't want it. She took it from my hands and threw it back at me. I also put both blankets next to her in the crib every night and each morning she wakes up holding the boy one. She doesn't want much to do with the girl one. haha!

We had to lower the crib mattress this month for our baby who's growing WAY too fast.

Davis & Abby riding in the car at grandma's house :)

Mom could stare at her sleeping baby all day long (if she didn't have other things that needed done)!

Abby loves to sit on her legs, and I think it's so cute - obviously! I realized while looking at my camera roll that I had a lot of pictures of her in this position!

January 2014

It's fun to watch Abby through her monitor... she will usually lay in bed for awhile each morning after waking up, before she starts to cry. Most days, we go in and get her out of bed before she has ever cried.

Noah was trying to help mom out by entertaining Abby but she didn't like the wagon ride!

Loving the rolls at Texas Roadhouse :)

Sweetest baby girl

Abby knew she looked cute with her curls after Mom put product in her hair and styled it :)

Matching for church!

Abby started crawling at 8.5 months and now can really make a mess with her toys!

Every day when Noah gets home from school, Abby kicks her legs and smiles really big. She loves his attention. On this day, he used his reading time (for homework) as a time to read Abby her books.

Must be comfortable... because Abby has figured out how to fix her headbands when they're bugging her!

Davis really wanted Abby to get out of her carseat and play with him!

Abby is such a night owl. She's always ready to party when the lights go out. This night... she got to sleep in Mommy's bed since Dad was out of town... and she was WILD! Mom got the camera out to document her craziness and these are the pictures that were captured... so funny!

Kaitlyn is so sweet to Abby :)

Abby is pretty clingy and doesn't like it if Mommy is within sight and not holding her. Sitting down next to Abby and her toys isn't even good enough sometimes...

I love the way Abby sits with her feet underneath her :)

This picture was meant to show Abby's two teeth but they are kind of hard to see. Her first tooth came in at 8.5 weeks, the day before she started crawling. It came with a high fever and a very runny nose :( The second tooth came a few weeks later with just as much snot and a fever for one day too.

Like I said, Abby doesn't like for Mommy to not be holding her. She didn't like being put in her crib while mom vacuumed her room!
