June 2014

As noted before, Abby makes the best sad face. She was pouting because Noah wouldn't share his ice cream.

Summer has been great so far ... hanging with cousins and not having much of a schedule. Abby has loved the extra time spent with Noah and as seen in this picture, Ellie too. She was so proud to have a seat in between the two of them on a booster seat instead of the high chair.

Lazies... this picture was taken around 10:30 in the morning when Noah & Abby were watching Noah's favorite, The Price is Right.

Lake trip with Emily Davis & her family...

When the fridge door opens, Abby races to it, then proceeds to do her "job"... which is to take everything out from the bottom shelf and then put it all back in. Every time.

We met up with some cousins at JumpStreet one day... Abby was a little nervous about everything but had a good time watching Ellie & Noah jump.

Abby has the best daddy ever! (picture taken on Father's Day)

This is the day Abby discovered her nostrils. First she discovered one and we knew it was just a matter of time before she discovered that she had 2...

... yup.

We took a trip to Bearizona on Uncle Jim's bus with some of our Riggs family cousins. We had a great time that day, and the bus ride was half the fun!

Abby had the best day of her life at Bearizona. We got to ride on a bus that had no windows and we got up close to many different kinds of animals. Abby would point with her finger and shout "daw daw!!" about all the animals.

The whole bus crew

Sherwood family field-trippers

Abby also loved not being strapped into a carseat on the bus!

We took a trip to the Mesa Public Library one day. Abby loved it...

... she even made a few new friends. These kids were so sweet and attentive to Abby :)

More time for Abby on the booster seat eating Taco Bell with the cool kids :)

Testing out how the cabbage patch binky works!

Cutest baby girl ever

The girls did a "hair train" at Grandma & Poppy's house one Sunday night, and Abby wanted to be part of it.

"This music is too loud!" (Not really. Abby loves music. I think she had recently discovered her ear holes.)

Grouchy and matching with cousin Davis on the Sunday before Independence Day...

Lucy was matching too!

Abby hasn't always loved her little rocking chair like we hoped she would but she's finally starting to appreciate her birthday present 2 months later :)

There was some major road construction happening in Grandma & Poppy's culdesac, so Davis and Abby stood on top of the counter and just watched for a long time!

Swimming at Aunt Callie's house...

May 2014

Sunday nights spent at Grandma & Poppy's house are our favorite...

Abby's first selfie! I found this on my phone with at least 10 other pictures she took!

Looking cute in her new sailboat dress from Brad & Danielle, and hanging with Grandma at Noah's baseball game.

Speaking of baseball games... Abby has been so good at every game. We set up a big blanket and dump all her toys out - she usually stays pretty entertained. This night however, she loved being a big girl in the big chair!

We went to Wilson Elementary's end-of-the-year pool party at Brimhall pool. Abby was looking so cute and loved standing in the water.

Ellie came with us that night and Abby LOVES Ellie!

We hit up DQ afterward for treats!

See.... she loves Ellie!

We weren't sure how well Abby would do on our first lake trip of the season but she did great! She didn't even seem to mind the life jacket that she couldn't take off the entire time.

Sad face but cute outfit :)

Abby graduated from her infant carrier into a "big girl" car seat. At first she was confused about it, but before long she was smiling, laughing, and squealing with excitement!

Abby loves these 3. Noah, Ellie, and Roxy shared some of their shaved ice with her on our trip to Bahama Bucks to celebrate the last day of school!

Look at Abby staring at Noah's DQ blizzard! He was so nice to share it with her but she started to act a little spoiled about it... screaming at Noah every time she wanted another bite. At one point Noah said to her, "Abby, you can't just rely on ice cream, animal crackers, and bottles. You need to start eating real food too." Then he spooned her another bite.  Haha!! Noah has heard me talking about my frustrations with Abby's eating habits. Basically she likes bottles and snack-y type food. She makes meal time pretty hard.

These are some cute pictures Daddy snapped one day at lunch. He was trying to get a good picture of Abby's vampire teeth that have come in before her top two middle teeth. She was being so cute!

We spent our Memorial Day weekend in Show Low with our friends at their cabin. Abby made some good friends... here she is shown with Grace & Charlotte.

"Abby Villapoto" testing out Dad's dirtbike. Daddy was so proud!

Fun at the SeaLife Aquarium on a Saturday spent with our family :)

Looking so sweet at church while stuffing her face with snacks!
