December 2013

Cute matching sisters for church

Cute baby girl wearing her "boots with the fur"!

3 sleepy heads snoozing in mom & dad's bed!

Abby and Noah spent the night at Suzy's one night and woke up to find our elf AND Suzy's elf watching over her! (Mom and dad were off enjoying themselves on a staycation for their 4th anniversary.)

Speaking of our elf (Simon)... he drew on daddy's face one night which is why we took this picture but it was so cute of Abby girl sleeping too :)

Abby was afraid of the chick-fil-a cow man when she saw him dressed like Santa at the mall! haha

Abby fell asleep in line waiting to see Santa at our ward party.

We visited Santa when we went to Sirrine's train yard and Abby did NOT like it!

All bundled up for hay ride & Christmas caroling with the Sherwood family...

Abby got sick with the stomach flu for an entire week in December. It was so sad! She was extra cuddly and spent lots of time laying in her towel after baths...

(I especially like this picture because she has a newborn-size binky in her mouth!)

Poor Abby didn't know why we were laughing so hard... her head was way too big for the Santa hat!

Poor Abby again... she got blamed for one of Simon's shenanigans.

I took a bunch of pictures one night when Abby was cuddling with Dad after work. He was so sleepy and so was she! My favorite is when she stares at him while he's sleeping.

Our festive baby dressed for the occasion... Christmas Eve.

Abby's first Christmas was so great! She was feeling better for the most part and acted with excitement over every gift she received! Santa brought her a wagon of blocks but she got a lot of presents from mom and dad, the sibling gift exchange, cousin gift exchange, and grandparents.

She was loving her new cell phone and other fun stuff from her stocking!

Sibling gift exchange... Abby had Noah so mom "helped" her buy him a present. Kaitlyn had Abby's name and gave her a lot of little things... a toy remote, a Sesame Street DVD, a crinkly book, and a little stuffed "animal" she sewed with a picture of her from when she was little on it!

Kaitlyn loves Abby! She helped her open her new Cabbage Patch baby doll.

Abby couldn't wait for Russ to get it out of the package.

Typical Christmas shot with the big mess!!

As soon as we got to Grandma & Poppy's house on Christmas, Uncle Brad took Abby and she didn't want anyone else. She cuddled up to him for a long time.

Reacting with such excitement over the gift Ellie gave her... (A "fur real friend" bunny)

Grandma & Poppy gave Abby a "drive-drive" - that's the cutest excited face!

Davis got the boy version of the same thing. So fun for these babies to have driving toys together!

We went to Grandpa Price's on Christmas night and Abby loved Mason more than anyone! She's a little flirt with her 20-something-year-old uncles!

Christmas night: while we were all cleaning up and getting ready for bed, Abby sat on the ground for a long time and just played with her new toys. She didn't even care that it was 2 hours past the time for her to eat!

Cutest morning smiles with her awesome bed head!

Dad & Noah went to the Holiday Bowl to watch ASU play, so we dressed up in ASU gear at home to pretend like we were also big ASU fans!

While the boys were away at the game, the girls in the Sherwood family partied together! We went to lunch, got pedicures, went out to dinner, then spent the night together at Grandma Vicki's house. It was fun to be together even though Abby was fussy and just wanted mom the whole time.

Abby is the queen of the house wherever she goes... here she is lounging out with her legs on Ellie and head / arm on Mommy!

That's how we finished off 2013. What a great year it was because of the birth of our sweet baby girl!!
